“I don’t even feel like getting out of bed these days – what’s the point?”

If these words have come to your mind recently, you need to read this.

I understand how you feel. I know there are fears, tears, apathy, uncertainty. Maybe a sense of lack of direction, like giving up.

I know it feels terrible, but there is something you need to know. There is a way out of it.

If you are reading this article, there is a part of you that doesn’t want to give up. Listen to that part! That part will take you closer to the life you truly want to live and the one you truly deserve.

The voice that is saying: “don’t bother, what’s the point, you will never be happy, life is meaningless..”

That’s your inner critic in action. You are much more than that.

Maybe it’s trying to protect you from being hurt or from failing, but if it’s got to the point where the messages are limiting you, it’s time to take back control.

Maybe your inner child is scared. She might have been wounded in the past and it doesn’t have the vitality, the energy, the innocence she used to have.

You can heal her.

Visualise yourself holding her hand tightly, hugging her, giving her the protection she didn’t have when she was young.

Let her know you are here for her. Let her know you are an adult now and you’re here to protect her. She doesn’t need to be scared. You are in control now.

There is always a reason to keep fighting. The wise, empowered, nurturing  part of yourself knows it.

That’s why you’re reading this.

I want you to think about it this way. If you keep listening to the inner critic, where is that going to take you? Where will you be in a year’s time?

But if you decide to ‘pass the microphone’ to the empowering, compassionate woman you have within, the one that won’t give up… How could your life change? What would it be different? How would you feel if you listened to that voice more often?

She is available for you, always.

I know sometimes the inner critic is too loud. But you have control. You have the power to decide which part of yourself you pass the microphone to.

The empowered woman within you knows that there is always a reason to get up every morning. She wants the best for you, what you deserve.

She knows you deserve to have a wonderful partner, a fulfilling career and a joyful life.

She knows that the little things are  worth fighting for: watching a beautiful sunset, a tasty and nurturing meal, a walk in the park, a chat with an old friend, dancing to your favourite song on loop like no one is watching…

The satisfaction to know you are doing what you can to become the best version of yourself.

Not to be perfect. We will always be a ‘work in progress’.

You are much more than what might have happened to you in the past.

You can be an inspiration to others, even with small actions.

I know some days it feels like the world is falling apart, like there is too much to deal with.

But you can handle it. Like you’ve handle other difficult situations before.

Remember that from big crises arise the best opportunities.

Sometimes we need to reach the bottom so there is change of direction.

It won’t always be like this.

You are here for a reason, You are here to grow,  to learn, to help and inspire others.

Sometimes we will cry, sometimes we will laugh. Sometimes we might fall, only to learn how to get up and continue walking.

We are here to live fully. To thrive, not to survive.

Find your motivation, What lights up your heart?

What is it that you need to be doing? Maybe you just need to stop doing and just BE.

What is it that you came to share with the world?

What little things make you smile and feel joy?

Whatever it is, even if it’s something very small, write it down and read it out loud every day. Set an alarm to remind you to do it every day.

Do less of what drains your energy

Do more of what brings you joy

You are worthy, you deserve it, you are here for much more. Your heart knows it, and you can do it.

And remember no matter what’s going on, or how difficult things might get, your inner wisdom will always be there for you to give you the answers.

You have all the power and wisdom you need inside yourself. Don’t let anyone make you think that you are powerless, that you are a victim or that you have to depend on others or material things to be happy.

I know there are many distractions and sometimes you might feel like there is no hope, but all you need is to have the right tools and go within.

If you have 5 minutes, I invite you to listen this free guided visualisation which will help you connect with your inner wisdom and power.

I hope you like it 🙂
